The situation
Clinicians in a care organization spend a large part of each day writing notes, summaries and correspondence, often after hours. The organization wants to reduce that burden without compromising accuracy, privacy or clinician control.

How we framed it
We treated the assistant as a drafting tool with clinicians always in charge. Success meant time saved per note with no loss of accuracy, measured through clinician review. Privacy and deployment inside the organization's compliant environment were requirements from the first design session.
Delivery
What we built
- A drafting assistant that turns structured inputs and clinician dictation into note and summary drafts in the organization's templates
- Retrieval over approved clinical guidance and the patient's record context, with citations shown in the draft
- Review and edit workflows with tracked changes so every final note is clinician-approved
- Deployment inside the organization's environment with de-identification, access controls and audit logs
- Evaluation on reviewed notes with ongoing sampling for quality and safety
